Ministry Details
Worship is the expression of reverence and praise toward God – it is a response to who God is. Praising and worshiping God allows people to enter into God’s presence. Worshiping together allows the church to come before God in fellowship; it is a powerful tool – it is the means whereby we acknowledge the greatness of God and ascribe to Him all that He is due. “Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise – the fruit of lips that confess His name” (Hebrews 13:15 NIV).

- Praise reveals solutions we cannot see
- Praise helps us remember God’s blessings
- Praise enlists God’s protection
God is enthroned on the praises of His people. When we lift up His name, we honor God by focusing our attention upon Him; we testify that God is greater than all. Our worship also signifies an intimate relationship with God – we lift our praises up to Him as a sacrifice of sweet savor, offering ourselves “as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is [your] spiritual act of worship” (Romans 12:1 NIV).
